Coffee roasting began as a hobby in 2010. One day our neighbor Masao was roasting coffee in our shared driveway. We immediately investigated the lovely aroma, it turns out it was coffee being roasted! I had to learn more, so I began roasting myself and picked up everything Masao could teach me. (First crack, medium roast, second crack, etc.) Coffee has always been a passion, and I even met my wife Amanda working at Monon Coffee (Thanks for hiring me Tim!) in Indianapolis circa 2001. There I learned the basics of coffee, espresso, origins etc. Fast forward to 2020, we began roasting for neighbors and friends, and decided to take it a step further. We hope you enjoy our coffee!
